It’s been awhile since we’ve posted a personal post- but I couldn’t help but to share photos from our 10 anniversary trip to Santorini. Cory and I didn’t have the money or photography knowledge we have now when we got engaged and started planning our wedding over 10 years ago. We had just started to photograph weddings and while I had my eye on a photographer- at the time she was at least a third of our wedding budget and that only gave us 5 hours of coverage. Oh to go back in time- and hire her anyways and probably elope to some beautiful, far away location.  🙂

Since we didn’t have the photos we always dreamed of, we knew we wanted to go somewhere amazing and have amazing photos to capture our special anniversary. We love to travel and it felt right to  have photos of us in this season of our lives in one of the most beautiful places on earth. So we hired our dear friends, Brandon Kidd photography– Brandon & Kristin. We love their style and they use  film- which was something we really wanted and we knew that whoever we hired- we wanted to trust them and feel comfortable with them. Since we did a little mini session with Brandon a few years ago in Italy- we knew that we would get the feel and look we wanted for our photos.

On 10 years of Marriage: It seems but a breath, but my life before Cory feels like a faded memory. I can’t imagine my life before or without Cory- we have been through so much and he has been my rock through it all. He keeps me grounded, he is the calm to my storm, and he pushes me to take risks. We have been blessed to travel all over the world and there is no greater person to experience adventure with than your best friend. Above all, Cory exemplifies what it means to love the way Christ loves the church. He extends so much grace to me and for that- I’m eternally grateful. When I began praying for my future husband – I literally don’t think I could of prayed for a better husband.

Cory- thank you. Thank you for loving me at my worst and giving me the greatest adventure than any far away land and that’s doing life with you. I love you more than you could ever know and I can’t wait to see where God will lead us next!
