We are finally excited to share our big (and much anticipated) announcement…
We bought a house!!! If you have been following us on instagram, you have probably have seen a couple of our posts sharing that we were celebrating something. I know most of you thought we were expecting. (sorry, no baby Phillips…yet) Cory and I have wanted a house since we got married, 4 and half years ago, but he timing wasn’t right. We have been looking on and off the whole time, and we were even hopeful on a couple houses that we thought we could call our own. God kept saying no. We thought for sure a few of the houses would have been perfect, but God had something better! Now, we can finally say, he has given us a house.
We have practically moved every year, and we’re tired of being nomads. It took some paying off student loans and saving our pennies this last year, but we finally did it. So we would like to introduce you to our new home!

He promised to be her constant, her forever. She thanked him for always staying by her side, and always being there for her, even when things were uncertain through life’s many changes. Mikael + Laura’s wedding took place at Mikael’s family farm, the exact place where his parents said their vows many year before. The anticipation throughout the day, the nerves, smiles, and tears. It was all wrapped up into one of the most beautiful weddings and couples we have ever seen!
We loved every detail of this wedding. And every detail was done by a family member or close friend. No detail was left unnoticed. The most important being Mikael + Laura’s personal vows to each other. I couldn’t keep a dry eye as I heard these two promise themselves to each other. To love better and forever!

If you know anything about Cory and I, you know that we love all things southern. Well, we happen to love this couple and their wedding! The wedding took place just outside of Cinncinati in a quaint town. It felt like we were deep in the south: complete with the sweetest people and the sweetest tea. In all seriousness, we really have loved getting to know Ruth and Riley. They have some of the greatest hearts ever. We loved their story as well. It is one of those stories that you feel as though it came straight out of a book. I guess in someways it was pre-written. God wrote their love story a long time ago. It is truly an endearing courtship, and their is no denying that they love God and each other.
Oh, how I just love Ruth’s dress!
This photo of Riley is so stoic and timeless.
Someday their kids and grandkids are going to look at this photo and feel like that could look back in time.
Ruth + Riley wanted to have a private moment where Riley couldn’t see her, but that they could be alone!
You can just see the emotion and anticipation on Riley’s face as he watches his bride down the aisle!
They wrote their own personal vows. It is one of the most beautiful vows I have ever heard. I could hardly keep focus, because the tears that filled my eyes!
Plus, I love how gently Ruth wipes away Riley’s tears!

I loved the inside of their reception location at the Glendale Lyceum. Pretty pale yellow walls, gorgeous chandeliers, and the history of the building!
I did not feel like I was in Ohio! There was so much southern charm!
